ECC to Portal Collaboration room using PI

Hi Experts,

My scenario is ECC to Portal Collaboration room. I am going to use PI for this.

This is my first time working on such scenario. I have few questions regarding this

1) What is the approach to do this (Which Adapter type I need to use etc..,)

2) What are the important things I need to take care of on portal side.

Provide me some links where I can find best approach for this task to be completed.

I have integrated with Portal using Soap Adapter and Java proxy. However http adapter and File Adapter can also be used.

On the portal side, expose a Web service which can be tested using WS Navigator and you are good to go.

IMO, You can do using http adapter or java proxy for sure.

Fully depends on the requirement. Plus this question is out of scope for PI forum.

Search SDN For the http adapter and java proxy scenarios.  Plus you might also consider webservice option scenarios.
