JVM version for Netviewer 7.1

Hi Gurus,

I have doubt here. We have CE on netviewer 7.1 and I belive that with 7.1 we need to install JVM seperately. It is within the package. But when I am looking into JAVA_HOME it is pointing to vendor JVM. But in startup logs it is showing SAP JVM.

I want to understand that how it is using SAP JVM when we have JAVA_HOME pointing to some other JVM.

Hi Shubham,

SAPJVM is used by netweaver indeed but JAVA_HOME need not point to it. SAPJVM path is described in instance profile (for 7.1 instance profile since instance and start profile are merged) and defined by parameter DIR_SAPJVM and from here SAPJVM path is obtained.
