Error in AS2 adapter

Hi all,

i have an issue in AS2 adapter

Message processing failed. Cause: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed: org.bouncycastle.mail.smime.SMIMEEnvelopedGenerator$WrappingIOException: org.bouncycastle.cms.CMSException: key inappropriate for algorithm., SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed: org.bouncycastle.mail.smime.SMIMEEnvelopedGenerator$WrappingIOException: org.bouncycastle.cms.CMSException: key inappropriate for algorithm.

I guess the error is in Receiver AS2 adapter. Please check for the certificate/keystore path under security settings provided in Receiver Agreement with the actual path in VisualAdmin. Also, cross check the AS2 signing algorithm configured in the channel with the algorithm used by your 3rd party.

Hi,

  Chcek the certificates, and also chcek the type of algorithm used by your TP in the creation of the certificate.

  This is the error due to some certificate mismatch only.

Check the uploaded encryption/signing certificates and their extension.

Pls check the security jar files. you can download the latest version of these from java portal. This might fix the issues related to Key.
