SAP IDES ecc6 SR2 Dispatcher Stopped

Hi Guys !

Could you please identify the problem showed below and tell me how to fix the issue.

when sap instance is started it shows dispatcher not connected to message server and Dispatcher gets Stopped.

Hi,

Please check is your listener is up and runing.

Please run R3trans -d and paste the trans.log here if you listerner is up and running.

How to check whether Lister is up ans running?

How to run R3trans -d ? usr/sap/trans/log folder contains nothing?

i have only sapmmc console window opened here !

go to services.msc and check for listener. Ensure it is running.

log in as SIDadm, open cmd and type R3trans -d. Check the trans.log in the dir where you've run the command. Should C:\Doc......

Listner had not Started (in services.msc) i manually started and made start-up type automatic.

For the time being its working Fine (Dispatcher not Stopped)
