Hi Everybody,

Good Afternoon,

We have a typical issue, Though we have assigned all the required authorisations to user  in BW environment. (Menu roles, Access for infocube and ODS,....).

When user login from BEx Analyzer, user unable to view Queries in Roles folder. We have done user compare, though user unable to view queries, if user search for the queries using Find option, then he able to view that particular query.

We have one composite role in which we have included all the single roles required for the user including menu role.

When we click on Roles folder message is "No Objects Found"

Appriciate your help

Thanks & Regards,

Firoz.

Hi Firoz,

To be able to see the menus you need to pull the menus from single roles to the composite role menu.

This has been discussed:

Follow the steps suggested by BOB in the thread and your problem will be solved.

Hi Ajesh,

Thank you for your reply,

My problem was not with Roles. I figured out the issue.

Authorisation object S_USER_AGR contains ACTVT: 03, 08, 22 with AGR: YGM*.

Our single role name starts with YGM* but our composite role YC*.

So its checking composite role not single role, so user unable to view Queries.

Thanks & Regards,

Firoz.
