Hello All,
I just wanted to get a clarification from folks on the forum regarding connector groups in AC10.once we implement our whole AC 10 implementation it will have 70 production systems and 300+ non-prods.
I know that they can be used to define various connectors in a landscape. They also have to do with the Rule sets available for each connector group.
As we can define our own connector groups and assign systems to it, what would be the implications i.e. as SAP has already given standard connector groups R/3,basis and ECC so what is the difference between the ones we have created and the ones SAP has given.
I just wanted to get some insight from folks using it rather than the technical documentation available ,hence this question.
Thanks
Uday
Uday,
My understanding is,standard connector groups come loaded with the pre-defined SOD rules like R/3,CRM and Basis only.
If you define your own connector groups you just have to load relevant SOD rules for that.
Thanks,
Srinu
