Dear Raviteja,

There is no direct relation between material and credit check except thru item category.

So if the 2 materials (line items) are of different item category, you can make one active for credit and other ot active for credit in VOV7.

Remaining configuration remains the same. You may search the forum for credit management.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi Raviteja,

In your sales order  if 2 line items are same item category group then it is not possible to control through item category, if you are using different item category then through item category you can control the credit limit.

*Simple Credit Check:* Tr.Code - FD32

It Considers the Doc.Value + Open Items.

  1. Doc.Value: Sales Order has been saved but not delivered

Open Item: Sales Order has been saved, Delivered, Billed & Transferred to FI, but not received the payment from the customer.

*Static Credit Check* it checks all these doc value & check with the credit limit

1) Open Doc.Value / Sales Order Value: Which is save but not delivered

2) Open Delivery Doc.Value: Which is delivered but not billed

3) Open Billing Doc.Value: Which is billed but not posted to FI

4) Open Item: Which is transferred to FI but not received from the customer.

Dynamic credit check:

In this check the system ignores all the open orders which are due for delivery after the horizon date also.

UPDATES Group:

000012  sales order, delivery, billing & financial accounting document

000015  Delivery & Financial accounting document

000018  Sales order, billing document & financial document.

Define Credit control area SPRO→ES→definition→F.A→DefineC.C.A

Assign C.C to C.C.A

Define Risk Category SPRO→A.R→A.P→C.M→C.C.A→Define Risk category (001-High risk, 002- Low risk, 003- Medium risk)

Define Credit Groups SPRO→SD→B.F→C.M & R.M→C.M→Define credit groups (01 for S.O, 02 for Del & 03 for Goods issue)

Assign credit group to corresponding transactions.

VKM3 – To release SO

VKM4 – to release SO & Dly blocking

VKM5 – Dly blocking

Please correct me if i am wrong.

As per my understanding, shall i follow the below procedure to put credit lock for the mateiral in the sale order

* Creating item catergory group

*Defind new item category with no credit check

*Changing the item category group in the mateiral at sales org data-2 level.

* Item category determination

Checking the same in the PGI level or at the sale order level.
