Different status in SXMSPMAST and SMXSPVERS

Hi,

We have messages with status 14 (system error, manual restart possible) in SMXSPMAST . But the last status in SXMSPVERS is 3, that means succesfully processed.

This makes it impossible to cancel this message and the message will not be deleted because status 14 will not be deleted.

I think a system crash has caused this inconsistency.

Has anybody a solution to solve this problem ? Is there a way to change the status in SMXSPVERS?

Hi,

This note is useful in case the record in SXMSPMAST does not exist any more but still there are some versions in SXMSPVERS still exists. In this case a message is still present in SXMSPMAST but the status differs from the actual status in SXMSPVERS. This makes it impossible to cancel and delete / archive the message. So I guess the first thing that has to be done is to synchronise the status in SXMSPVERS and SXMSPMAST. But the question is how.
