change "valid from" and "valid to" dates of a regulation

Hi,

I am using GRC 10.0 Process Control to create regulations through NWBC.  There doesn't seem to be a way to modify "from" and "to" dates of a regulation, post initial creation.  Nor a way to delete an erroneously created regulation.

Can someone shed light on how to modify a regulation ?

Thanks

Sreeni.

Hi Sreeni,

You can delete the regulation and change the dates through GRFN_STR_CHANGE. Excute this transaction in Process Control R/3 system.

Select the regulation->click on Delete button->and select Object

Rajeshwari,

Thanks for the response.  I am aware of doing this within R/3.  But was looking for a possible way to do this using NWBC.  Looks like there isn't an option.

Generally Master data like regulations are not recommended to delete. Yes you are right there is no option to delete the same from NWBC.As per the functionality only authorized users can delete the same from R/3.

Hi Sreeni,

As Rajeshwari already stated, the master data like regulation can be created through NWBC.

But to modify the "valid from" and "valid to" date or to delete the regulation , the authorized person has to go

to the R3 system and perform the required action.
