interfaces not displayed in ecc

     Hi,

SPROXY communication is configured between ECC and PI 7.11 system. it is working also, as the client proxy msgs generated from ECC are coming to PI system and getting processed - no problems anywhere till now.

But what is happenning is when we run SPROXY in ECC, then it shows the URL for ESR, but the interfaces below it are not displaying now. It was displaying 1 hour back - but since proxy communication is working, so why the interfaces are not getting displayed in ECC - strange problem. Any idea how to get the interfaces displayed again in sproxy in ECC system? pls help.

Hi,

Check if below RFCs in ECC under are pointing to your PI system. Check if there has been any recent changes.

LCRSAPRFC

SLDSAPRFC

Also check transaciton SLDAPICUST in ECC and make sure entry is pointing to PI system.

The problem could also be becasue of locked users which is being used under SLDAPICUST.

Hello

Check this note - #1528587 PI ESR Content 0bjects are not visible in SPROXY. Does this match the issue you are seeing?

I think proxy configuration is not working. Please do SLDCHECK in ecc and see whether you get any error. If you find error, take help from BASIS. This is easiest step to figure out connection issues between ECC and PI.

if the proxy communication is not working, then how the msgs are flowing from ecc to PI.

just now, i run a custom transaction to create a msg in ECC , then that msg generated in ECC and also arrived at PI and was then sent to target system - So the proxy communication is working currently.

The only question is why in sproxy, the interfaces are not getting displayed? even though in ESR link it is showing the URL for ESR.

The main intention was ... We want to check whether LCRSAPRFC connection is working or not...? If there is any exchange profile parameter alter might cause this issue. This RFC connection reads the ESR through gateway server.

Hi Misec,

Though your connection between ECC and PI working does not mean that your connection with ESR is fine. Because at runtime it takes last activated data. Same thing happened with me as well.

So the resolution is to do SLDCHECK and find if it is working fine and when you go to transaction SPROXY it might also throw error. Check the error.
