Hi Experts,
after implementing CUA on our landscape, we got some problems with user parameters.
Some user parameters have disappeared on child systems.
I think that one of child systems has deployed its own user parameters to all others.
So, users can't find there parameters. It's a big problem.
WHat's the solution?
Could we import user parameters (usr05 table) from a standalone system (not in CUA) into CUA (usr05 of CUA mandant) and then do a mass change to all child systems of CUA?
Regards
Chris
Hello Chris,
the overwriting of existing parameters during SCUG is solved with note 1616824.
In note 395841 it is described, how to handle system specific parameters within a CUA landscape.
So either you sync before hand all existing parameters from the child systems to the central system (TPARA table) or you use also in central system the tolerant behaviour (W,S or I).
Nevertheless it is possible of course to use local maintenance of parameters (SCUM=local) and the modification suggested by you by manipulating usr05 locally (in child systems).

Hi Chris,
I do not know what CUA is, but it makes me suspect that you have posted this question on the wrong forum.
To what SAP product are you referring ?

Johan
