Guidance in WDJ

Hello All,

I'm working currently on BSP's and ABAP.

Now I came to WDJ.

Can anyone help me out in starting with this ?.

Basically I don't know Java.

Should I learn Java first and then start learning WDJ ?

Please guide me .

Regards,

Deepu.K

Web Dynpro is not a good way for learning Java itself. Better to learn first from Suns Java Tutorial and/or a good text book.

Hello Armin,

Thanks for ur reply.

But in how much time can I learn JAVA ?

I heard that it is vast.

There is no universal answer to this question. If you have some background in C/C++ and some idea what OO is about, I would say, Java basics are easy to learn. And of course, learning never ends.

Hi Deepu,

I suggest you to follow some simple tutorials, this can help you to understand step by step the more important concepts about the JWD

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/developerareas/webdynpro?rid=/library/uuid/49f2ea90-0201-0010-ce8e-d...

Note that Java programming (OO) is very important.

Hope this help you,
