Hi Experts,
is it possible to monitor the "Current Active Sessions" in MaxDB with CCMS ?
It would be very helpfull to know if there will be a bottleneck in some minutes...
Thank you & best regards, Steffen
Hi,
you could go "Current Status" -> "Kerner Threads" -> "Task manager" to find out what the MaxDB User asks are currently doing. But personally I would always prefer using the Database Analyzer statistics ("Problem Analysis" -> "Performance" -> "Database Analyzer") as this is the most comprehensive and extensive collection of statistics/usage data I have seen. This tool is really good, especially for finding/identifying bottlenecks on database level.
I would use the Task Manager as additional source of information in case of an ongoing performance issue on task level (like User Tasks beeing blocked), but my starting point would always be the Analyzer...
