Copy QAS system to TRN system.

Hi experts.

We have running SAP netweaver 7.0. having DEV, QAS, TRN and PRD systems. TRN system is not having sufficient data to Training. but QAS having.

Now we need to copy QAS data to TRN system. what will be the best method can we perform this task. I have read several docs regarding that. I think one option is system copy is ideal for this. But i get to know

• what are the requirements?
• before and post activities should i do?
• will this be effect for the current landscape?
• should i take sap license for the target one again?
• is there any method except system copy?

please answer me.

Hi,

You can read system copy guide for more details. Yes, you need license of target system after system copy.

If your data is not much then you can carry out client copy as well but with client copy you would not be able to copy cross client data.
