Error while creation webdynpro application

hi,

i am facing fallowing error while creation webdynpor application in se80 tcode

Description: Unable to locate the server named "cbxxxxx.XXXXXXXX.com" --- the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.

Hi Siva,

3 things that you need to verify:

1. As the error suggests that the server does not have a DNS entry or the system is unable to identify the name, please check with your BASIS Team about the naming convention configured for WebDynpro. Also, you need to ensure that the firewall allows you to deploy and activate the application.

2. Check with your BASIS about relevant authorisations to create and deploy a Webdynpro application,

3. Finally, if your Webdynpro IP is in a local environment, then, add the server IP in the host of your local system from where you need to access the system.
