Shopping cart change by approver

Hi experts,

  we are using Process controlled Workflow and using Approval with completion for approval so that approvers can change shopping cart during approval process. when doing so the shopping cart is not sent to requestor unless the inquire is selected. the requirement is whenver approver changes the cart system should always send the shopping cart to requestor, is there anyway this can be achieved we basically no need the inquire functionality.

Take a look at note 1277921.

During completion step, approver can change document, but this does not mean that work item will be sent back to requestor. Purchaser can change the cart and approve it.

Inquire option should be used in this case.

  If I understand correctly your question, you want that after an approver changes the SC, it will go back to the requester, so he approves/sees the change. In that case, you can do it in TCode SU01. Go to Personalisation tab --> "Specifies the authorization level of the user in the approval" field. Double click on it and choose the appropiate security level. If you choose 2 - then WF is always started after changes are made to the SC, and if you choose 4 - WF is never restarted. Regulary, I set 4 only to Strategic Purchasers.

Hi,

usually the requester will receive the notification when approver reject the shopping cart.

And if you want to send shopping cart to the requester when approver changes something during approval then it would be big thing in workflow customization.But it is possbile to send Email notification to the requester when approver changes something during approval and it is also related to specific changes.

please let us knwo, what type of fields approver may change during approval.
