While am trying to preview the data from IDT for a BW- Cube for which i had created a relational connection and then JCO based Data Foundation layer am getting the following error.

BW system's version is 7.3

Error:

[] <com.businessobjects.dsl.commons.exception.NestedException: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'test_zmatbw_mul'] Could not generate a callback program ID: (73) You have no authorization to display destination DF_JCO_MARS_0  >

Cause of Error:

[Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'test_zmatbw_mul'] Could not generate a callback program ID: (73) You have no authorization to display destination DF_JCO_MARS_0

Please help me if i have to do any other setting on BW side?

Hi,

You need to work with your BW BASIS colleague and review your SAP usr.

Yes you're missing authorizations, that's clear.

The Admin Guide and Data Access Guides for BI4.0 cover this in great detail.

On top of that, there are also notes to this effect. Here is one such example:

Note 1465871 - Minimal BW Authorizations for BO Data Federator

Hi,

there should be a good number of documented solutions for this at www.service.sap.com/notes under the BI-* component.   Such as Note 1601098 - How do you resolve "Could not generate a callback program
ID ... Delete the unused RFC" wh...

Also, there is a wiki here on SCN with config steps, which mentions this issue :
