Can not view webdynpro application url with server ip adress

Hello,

I think this is more a basis question(i asked there too), but maybe you can help me because it is based on a webdynpro.

I created a webdynpro application, activated it in SICF and set a background user.  If I run the application with the name of the server(sap.name.ro) followed by the port and the name of the application, the application works. But if I run it with the IP of the server(10.10.xx.xx) instead of name, I receive the error:

Error Code: ICF-IE-http -c: 100 -u: USER1 -l: E -s: QPR -i: sapd_QPR_01 -w: 0 -d: 20120404 -t: 182535 -v: RABAX_STATE -e: UNCAUGHT_EXCEPTION -X: <%=EPP_CTX%> -x: <%=EPP_TID%>

User1 has no problem. If for example I remove this background user from SICF, and run the application with the ip adress in front, the browser opens the window with the sap login. But, I can not connect to the application with any user. The window with the login window is shown again and again.

The combination ip adress-server name is mentioned in the hosts file in windows..drivers...etc.That is why the application works with the name of the server in front, otherwise it does not work.

Have you met this problem?

It is advisable to use fully qualified domain names for WebDynpro ABAP Application.
