How are you solving problem, that cl_gui_frontend_services isn't working

Hello colleagues,

How you are solving this problem, for example I need to check or file exist:

cl_gui_frontend_services=>directory_exist

this is not working, any suggestions?

This problem is in WebDynpro program.

CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES isn't going to work from Web Dynpro.  All the CL_GUI classes use the SAPGUI connection to talk to the frontend.  In Web Dynpro you are running in a web browser and therefore have connection to the SAPGUI. 

There isn't really a way to do a directory exist check in Web Dynpro.  Remember you are in a web browser and are restricted to the security limitations of anything which runs in the Web Browser.
