I am getting following error while creating a sales orcer with ref to contract

I was searching for an answer to the same problem, and finally found what I had missed

T-Code OVKK

Need to have all combinations of Sorg, Dist Chan, Div, even if you are using common Dist div configuration.

I was missing some entries in the Dist Channel that was giving me trouble

Hi !

Before suggesting anything, can you tell me for which sales area is your contract maintained? and if you have defined the ship to party as a partner authorized to release from the contract in the contract header?

first u should check sold-to-party of sales area.again u should be maintained for Ship-to party 147 from sold-to-partyof sales area.sold-to-party & Ship-to party should be same.

the message is very clear that the ship to party ur refering is not from the same sales area. if u have the customer already then extend the same to the said sales area, by common division and distribution channel

We maintain ship to party in US DS 10 only.

and it is maintained like that only

hi, as u can see ths u have created for the division 10 so u need to extend the same customer/ship to party to division 20 ths different sales area right, so u need to extend the customer. do this it will be solved

Hi,

After maintaining in US DS 20 it is working fine.

But normally we never maintain in US DS 20 for other transaction.

then why it is asking for this transaction.

we always create in US DS 10.

is their mistake while creating a BP or any SPRO changes required.

hi,

As u know that the basic thing is that customer master can be created for one sales area and can be extended to any number of sales area, this is with the help of wonderful concept of common distribution channel and division , here if u assign the same customer to the different sales area maintained in ur structure. Hope it has answered u
