search webdynpro abap project for a text

I would like to search the entire code (all methods) of a Webdynpro abap application for a string

Can you please help me. I dont want to open each method. Is there a Where Used List equivalent where I can type what Im searching for and it will search the entire project ?

Hi,

For every Component a class is generated, So first find the class for A webdynpro component.

For this use the method GET_CLASSNAME_FOR_COMPONENT of class CL_WDY_WB_NAMING_SERVICE.

Now you got the class name, Just open this class and press CTRL+F to search for any string

in whole webdynpro component.

I have got the class name ... its a long weird name

/1BCWDY/87ER4183UFHXCZURKE4W

I cant search this in SE80. Do you know where it exists ? II mean whats the tree structure to get here ?

Hi,

Its a class name just goto SE24 and give /1BCWDY/87ER4183UFHXCZURKE4W.

display it and search for any string.
