Hello

I have manufacturing in two plants. How can I best split MPS demand 80:20 between each?

Hello

You may use a quota arrangement (transaction MEQ1). For one of the quota arrangement items you may define that material should be internally procured and for another you may define a special procurement with a stock transfer from the other plant.

I have created the following SAP note that may help you to create a quota arrangement:

1508647 - MRP does not consider the quota arrangement

Thanks Caetano. That's just what I had thought to try.  I will feedback my progress!

Hi,

You can use quota arrangement. In quota arrangement you can specify weightings for partner locations, external procurement, and in-house production, according to which the quantities are to be apportioned. The assignment of requirements to different vendors and plants is based on quota arrangements. 80% of a material requirement can be automatically assigned to one plant and the remaining 20% to another.
