Solution Manager 7.1 Installation configure System Landscape Directory Error

Hi All,

Im Installing Solman 7.1 and in the middle of the installation i stuck at phase 40 -48 (Configure System Landscape Directory)

This Is My Sapinst_dev log

Im Suspecting the log that i have highlighted in blue were the reason i get this problem.

Hi All,

I Already Solved It, Here I Give The Way To Solved It.

First, U have to Set The CPIC_MAX_CONV to 400 As Jansi Said Before.

Then I allow the server to be called in the Window Firewall With Advanced Security > Right Click On Inbound Rules > Select New >Rule Type Tick On Port And Click Next > Specific local Ports Type In 3300 > In Action Choose Allow The Connection And Click Next > In Profile Select All And Click Next > In Name Type In The Name And Click On Finish. Then Restart The Computer And Restart The Installation. Work Like A Charm And The Software Up And Running For Post Installation..

Nice to hear that. Just my 2 cents worth, by following the installation guide, is good to turn off windows firewall and UAC before sap installation.

this is the network issue, but may i knw after changing env variable did you reboot your server? if not please do so.

and also make sure you are running with the latest kernal else update that too and try,

Yes I have Reboot It. May I Know what do u mean by latest kernel? i it the label that been use when i install the software? Example, NW_7.02_Kernel_7.20_OS_400_windows?

error saying ERROR max no of 0 conversations exceeded

set the environement parameter CPIC_MAX_CONV to maximum value in the instance profile (400 s more enough).

and also check gw/max_conn has been set or not, if not set that also . then your installation goes well

gw/max_conn - This one you can change it in RZ10 in instance profile....

CPIC_MAX_CONV - The above path you mentioned is rite.. You can set it there.
