CJCO (Budget Rollforward)

A project is budgeted at 20000 with 10000 in FY2011 and 10000 in FY2012.

If Budget in FY11 overspent Example 11000, it means there is nothing to carry forward to next year as Carry Forward = Actual budget in 2011 - total assigned budget in 2011(10000 - 11000 = -1000)

Is there any way(Automatic) with the help of which budget in 2011 will become 11000 and in 2012 becomes 9000?

I know that to do this we have to post supplements and returns manually, but i want automatic way?

Hi Rojer,

There is no automatic way to carry forward negative values to next year.

You have to do it manually (post supplements to current year and returns to the next year according to the example you gave us) or you can create one custom program which will do these posting automatically.

i agree with sunil, no automatic way of transfer of budget.

once fiscal year changes, you must carryout CJCF & CJCO for projects which are budget profile activated.

As per my knowledge their is not way to automate this transfer of budget. this is done manually.
