How EIKP and EIPO tabels update in delivery?

Hello All,

We have an issue with foreign trde data.

One IDOC will create the delivery and it is failing due to the missing Mode of Transport at delivery header. If we process the IDOC in fore ground we are getting same error but if we go to the Header->Foreign trade data the mode of transport is coming.

I debugging we found that EIPO and EIKP tables are not updating even the sales is export sales. The system trying to search the table entries with EXPOT Number(EXNUM). We checked in Foreign trade data customizing, the mode of transport is been defaulted for route and business transaction type and export procedure also defaulted.

So the system should update both tabels but it is not happening.

Can any body adwise on this issue.

Regards,

Did you check the sales order foreign trade log? Go to t.code VA02/VA03, enter the sales order number, then go to menu Extras ->Export License ->Log. Here if you see for any item with red status, then double click on it to see what parameter is missing. Correct the issue, then try again to create the delivery.

Can you check the link http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPLO/How+to+analyse+foreign+trade+data+determination+in+a+deli...  Can you check the shipping plant and ship-to address carry different country address and export indicator is triggered? You can check this in sales order itself?

You can also check whether any users exit is causing any changes in the ship-to address/country code in VL01N.
