ES Workpace Service problem

Hi all,

          I logged into HU2 SAP ERP 6.0 (ECC 6.00 EhP4 SP04) system via WEBgui and tried to create a proxy for the ES workplace WSDL file (http://erp.esworkplace.sap.com/sap/bc/srt/xip/sap/ECC_CUSTOMER002QR?sap-client=800&wsdl=1.1) but received error as shown below when generating proxy for a URL.

“You are not authorized to make changes (authorization object S_DEVELOP)”.

@ES Worplace services Experts: can you please give authorization for developing objects in the system?

Hi,

this is actually a very important topic. We receive this and similirar questions regularly, but we cannot help. Here is why:

The ES Workplace systems are provided to a big audience. To give you an idea I can share that we have more than 25000 users in the ERP systems, of which about 4500 were active within the few month. Imagine if we would give developer permission to all those people

We trust every one of you to work carefully with the systems. But there are thousands of possibilities what you can do with them. Some of these possibilites required customizing that simply do not match. We try to keep the balance between openness and security / stability. When in doubt we go for the safe option though.

Regarding the service you mentioned: if you want to consume it, you can either look up the endpoint in the respective Services Registry http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com (enter ECC_CUSTOMER002QR and look for internal names) or you can start in the ES Workplace, which is less technical but contains additional information: https://esworkplace.sap.com/socoview/render.asp?id=1B491BC6E28711DB2B24000F20DAC9EF&fragID=&packagei...=

Hi Oliver,

Thanks for your response.I used the endpoint you gave above.But for that  WSDL when consuming, it returned error like this.

Message 'Policy' in namespace 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/09/policy' is not unique in WSDL.

Please bare me as I am in beginner in Enterprise services.

Also ,when i try the same WSDL in my SAP system the error i get is.

HTTP Error (return code 404,message ''conn failed''.I checked proxy setting.

Here is my proxy setting

Do i need to make any changes.Please advise.
