Hi Experts,

I'm trying to activate QGM and Charm for my SAP portal but I'm getting this error during the creation of the img project in transaction solar_project_admin:

Error getting RFC destination for logical system EP7

Diagnosis

No RFC destination was found for the logical system 'EP7' .

System Response

The RFC connection to the system 'EP7' cannot be created.

Procedure

Create the required RFC connection in the Solution Manager System Landscape Maintenance.

I checked the internal solution manager RFC and they work fine. I checked the following note as well bu the error still exist:

1666115 Error getting RFC destination for logical system SID XYZ

These are the steps I executed:

1. executed transaction solar_project_admin

2. selected project Z_QGM_2

3. selected tab page "System Landscape"

4. selected tab page "IMG Projects"

5. selected img project Z_QGM_2

6. click on button "create img project"

7. error

Please could anyone help me to resolve the issue?

Hi Gio,

Try the following document

     -click on "view document"

It explains how to configure it for non-abap systems.

kind regards, Fabricius

Hi Gio,

You need to configure CTS+ to work on charm for EP systems as it is non-abap...

Please check the below link

Hi Gio,

As Jagdish mentioned here ,  you need to have a Transport Routes of your Java system well defined before activating ChaRm for managing Portal CRs. Have you configured CTS+ for your portal systems? If not pls perform this prior to ChaRm activation. There are guided procedures available for configuring CTS+ for Portal. Pls follow them.

Rgds

Hi Vivek, Jagadish,

CTS+ has been configured as indicated in the best practice document and in the Expert guide Implementation documentation.

Do you think that the error should be related to the cts+ configuration?

thanks
