SAP Library Installation

Hii,

i am trying to install SAP library help for my ECC system. my current version of the system is SAP Netweaver 702 sp10 and my ERP version is ecc6 ehp5 stack 3.

Now i am trying to install 50107546 - EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0 incl SAP ERP 6.0 SPS20

I made all the setting as per Library help guide, but still i have probelm, for few Tcodes SAP Library is opening, for all the basis related tcodes help is not opening.

Please suggest.

Hi,

Check the following SAP note ..

Note 857216 - SAP help files (.chm) not displayed correctly

Please see the following step if any step missing from your side..

1) Copy the SAP Library DVD on SAP system.

2) Share the directory ..\htmlhelp\helpdata with the name of SAPHelp

3) Go to the Transaction SR13 and execute

4) Go to  HtmlHelpFile Tab and click

5) Click 'New Entries'

6) Enter the Data in the column..like...

   variant....Sap library

   platform...WinNT

   area .....IWBhelp

   path........\\Servername\SAPHelp

   language...en

7) Create your own requests with proper Description.

😎 go to Save & exit

9) Go to Help Menu. Setting / application help

10) Chose IWBehlp and click on Choose Area then select setting variant and from the menu select the SAP Library.

  Now  you can use the application "help/SAP Library"

Hi,

I did the same, but for some transaction like eg: mm03 help is opening (help >> application help) i am getting a Popup, but if i try the same thing with some basis transaction its showing an error, when  i opened that error message

Please check if the file " 00000711.chm " exist in the path " "\\152.63.199.206\htmlhelp\EN "

That file is not there in the DVD  delivered by SAP.

Can you check the following SAP note..

Note 920997 - Help files (.chm) cannot be opened through Shared Folder
