CTM -No available and free destination address could be found

Hello ,

                 I am trying to run CTM and i get the error "No available and free destination address could be found". i tried running connection test in /sapapo/copt00 but it shows the same error too.Can any one tell me how do i resolve this .Is this a basis error

Hi Nick,

The error may be due to either CTM engine not running in windows server or some issue with RFC connection. Your basis team can fix it for you.

Probably, you can test the RFC connection  using t.code SM59 and look for your RFC connection (refer the t.code /SAPAPO/OPT00) used to access CTM engine under TCP/IP connections.

Hi Nick,

Yes, this looks like some issue with connectivity to the CTM Optimizer server, so it would be a Basis issue.

When you go to SM59 as suggested by Rajesh, see that that RFC user and password are available, and then run the connection test. Most likely your Basis team will need to correct the connection to the CTM Optimizer server for you.
