WLK1 table- cause and effect

HI expert

I want to know  if i delete entries  from  WLK1table, what will be effect to articles and system

i am getting error " when am trying to change the Merchandize category for articles.........................I am getting error while in Test update W7017 site xxxxxx does not exit"

i have check in development by deleting the entries from table WLK1. then i am able the change the MC.

Hello,

You are getting this because the new Merchandise category is not assigned to the Site Master (WB02). If both merchandise categories are assigned to the Site Master, You can change the Merch category.

It is a listing table.Follow above update,If you remove listing these will not get updated in table.Later you can add by doing again listing.
