Add language package SMLT

Hello, in system installed language from wrong file (Language ECC 6.00 SR3).

Now need install language package EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW7.01 SR1.

  I install this package in system, create supplementation in 000 and production mandant, execute programm RSLANG20. But text in production mandant stay from old package, in 000 mandant  text from new package.

How implement new language pack in a productive client?

Used RSTLAN_SUPPLEMENT_ONI for reset supplementation and copy translations?

No mistakes in the execution of the report RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK.

All checks are green.

I dont want import a new language. I want import another language pack for an already installed language. Package ECC 6.00 SR3 does not translate some of the transactions, but in package EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0/NW7.01 SR1 this translation contains.

The above settings i imlement when importing package ECC 6.00 SR3.

Hi,

Go to SMLT -> select the Language

highlight your selected language then select LANGUAGE  ->  IMPORT PACKAGE

After that check the language consistency with the report: RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK

If there is any Software unit affected import the Language from Support Packages:

RSTLAN_IMPORT_OCS

Check the following sap notes :

Note 1309530 - Required adjustment for the report RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK

Note 1366014 - RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK: Incorrect supplementation mode

Note 1296028 - RSTLAN_LANGUAGE_CHECK

Hi,

Go to t.code SMLT

Select from menu LANGUAGE -> CLASSIFY

Language = ( choose your language)

Supplementation Language = English  (please note this only allow to set ONCE ONLY!!)

click SAVE

highlight your selected language then select LANGUAGE  ->  IMPORT PACKAGE

Language = your selected language

Path = the path of the cd/dvd

go to RZ10

Profile = INSTANCE PROFILE - EXTENDED MAINTENANCE - Change- Parameter

set install/codepage/appl_server  =  8600     (eg: 86=Thai, 00=English)

Go to SE38- RSCPINST- Execute

under Enter Languages -> remove German(DE)  &  add your language   {please note ONLY allow TWO languages max)

click SIMULATE button at top bar  (this will tell you if any errors, example Code Page not match)

If simulate OK then click ACTIVATE button on top bar.

Finish.
