one sales order with splitting of delivery

Hi

I have created sales order with qty 10, i want to do delivery first only 5qty,then again 5qty,but with only single sales order number,is it possible,can u ell me the process step by step, i have put billing relevence  as k in item category,it is spliting but only once it is asking but i want to  split it to 2 deliveries.

Dear Vejella,

Check in the customer master whether MAXIMUM NO OF PARTIAL DELIVERIES is specified.

Normally you can do a delivery split with no trouble.

in VL01N, put your order no, then change the qty to 5 and PICK 5 and save.

Then again in VL01N, put the order no and the remaining qty will come automatically which you have to PICK and save.

You may please post the SCREENSHOT of the error you are facing.

Hi Vejella,

I think it is possible to create two deliveries refer to one sales order.

u create one sales order in

1.va01 qty-10 -->1234

2.in vl01n-->1234 ordered qty10 ,you enter picking qty 5 then do pgi -->one delivery document is created

3.go to vl01n again with ref to 1234 the ordered qty change to 5,you enter picking qty 5 then do pgi-->one more delivery document is created

in this process two diff delivery documents created

I think it is possible to create two outbound deliveries refer to one sales order.

VA01 qty 10 order-1234

1.vl01n qty 5 refer to 1234

2.vl01n qty 5 refer to 1234 the rest qty
