The time series ID periodicity of forecast data in the forecast service deviates from the global forecast periodicity. These periodicities must agree.
In the Customizing for forecast a time series ID (of forecast data) must be chosen in the relevant forecast service profile in the general data whose periodicity agrees with the global forecast periodicity. The global forecast periodicity can also be maintained in Customizing for forecast.
Does anyone know where to check if you Global and Forecast general data are the same?
Hi Erik,
The SPRO path for global forecast periodicity maintenance is IMG ® Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Supply Chain Planning ® Service Parts Planning (SPP) ® Basic Settings ® Determine Forecast Periodicity.
TSID periodicity is maintained through reference i.e. configuring the settings for Transaction Data Layer (TDL) (SPRO path - IMG ® Advanced Planning and Optimization ® Basis Settings ® TDL ® Configure settings for TDL semantics). Here, you can set TSID's Time Series (TS) type for example
Then, refer the Time Series Data Management section (SPRO Path - IMG ® SCM Basis ® Time Series Data Management ® Configure TSDM)
I hope this information is useful to you.
Thanks,
Rajesh
