How to automatically assign a new indicator in Customer Classification to all the existing customers?

Hi Experts,

I have created a new customer classification with yes/no indicator as the characteristics value.     I have given 'no' as the default value.    But this default value is not automatically assigned to all the existing customers.     How to assign this to all the existing customers automatically?    Thanks in advance

Hello Karthik,

Default values are only filled for new assignments. For already existing assignments, default values are not set. You will need to update them. You can do that in CL20N. please make sure, that in the user settings - on tab 'Default values' in section 'Procedures' - the point 'Confirm' should be checked.

Please read note "553070 - Determination of default values in value assignment " for more information on how to set the values in CL20N

It looks you may need to use LSMW or CATT to update the data in customer master.
