Solved: questions about upgrade from PI 7.1 to PI7.3

Hi,expert:

We will upgrade sap pi from 7.1 to 7.3, there is some questions we are not sure:

1. we need the java stack only,it means we will install pi7.3 instead of upgrading?

2. most of our interface use the abap proxy,and how to migrate to PI7.3.(we have no ccbpm).Is there XI adapter in PI7.3? If not, which adapter

abap proxy use?

1. It is not possible to upgrade from dual stack to 7.3 single stack. You cannot un install ABA stack.

2. for Abap proxies, follow the approach as suggested in

Direct Hardware upgrade not possible for PI7.3 single stack from PI 7.1 dual stack.

ABAP proxies supported all ABAP proxy interface would work as expected but only some minor connection changes required.

ccBP scenarios not supported to alternative is using SAP BPM,in your case no ccBPM well and good.
