Consignment Pick up to different plant

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario in the consignment Pick up.

Once I complete the consignment Fill up, there is a damage or general stock pull up from consignment stock. Because my production plant (plant 1) is not accepting the returns, we have different plant (plant 2) who process returns and take responsibility of returns.

Without doing transfer from plant 1, Is there any possibilities that I can directly do consignment pick up from consignment stock to return plant stock (Plant 2)

One thing what you can do is with the exit USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION in the program MV45AFZB, you can force the required plant which should happen in the background though system picks up the parent plant.

But from inventory point of view, I am not sure which you should try on your own and update here.

hi Ravi,

Whatever stock movement from plant to plant or storage location to storage location, you can do the stock transfer.

system is checking the stock relevant storage location with combination of plant..

your scenario is not possible ,better try storage location to storage location.

logically, internally stock movement happening through storage location only not plant

Hi Manimaran,

u can do the same in the following way

* Extend the material from plant1 to plant2

* Stock transfer order from plant 1 to plant2

then process asusual consighnment process from plant2 instead of plant1

Hi Ravi,

The issue is after Consignment fill up. How it will be useful if you stock transfer order. This Material is already extended to both the plants and I already done the Consignment Fill up from Plant 1, Now I have to perform Consignment pickup to a different plant (Plant 2).

Hi,

before doing consighment fill up ( placking the stock @ customer end) .

Extend the material to Plant-2 and do Consighnment issue  for the same.

Specify the plant-2 while creating the consighnment pickup & process the same.

Hi,

As we know the process are related in following sequence.

Consignment - Fillup, Pickup (If needed), Issue and Return (If needed).

I have a material which is extended for both plant.

1) Fill up is already completed from Plant 1, Now I have to do Pickup to Plant 2 .

As per your reply, I hope it is possible but how?

The given thread is for consignment return but not for consignment pick up.

Here I'm looking for Consignment Pickup to a different plant.
