New Country Code for Scotland

Hi,

we need to create a customer who is located in Scotland. There is no country code for Scotland. Since Scotland is not an  independent country, Please advice how do we set up follwoing address in SAP?

Unit 9 Airlink IND EST
Inchinnan Road
Paisley
Renfrewshire
PA3 2RS
Scotland

Hello Rutu Shah,

You can create country code with the T.code OY01, OY07, As Scotland is not an indipendent country and the transactional currency is sterlings and pounds both. You can create customer master by selecting coutry and then in the region add Scotland.

If in your system for region Scotland is not there, you can create it by the path:

SPRO-IMG-SAP Netweaver-General settings-Set countries-Insert Regions.

In my view creating region will be appropriate as the country code GB will remain intact and the currency will be GBP and even the country calender GB is also available in system.

It looks Scotland is part of Great Britain. So you need to add the country as GB. You can refer OSS 1183946  - Is Scotland a country?
