Is there a search box on the open page of the new forum

This is my first foray into the new SCN, so be kind

Is there a search box on the opening page of the new forum?

I didn't see one.

If you use "Search the Community" box which is on right top corner, it will give you all findings for all areas including forums (aka discussions).

I noticed that.

But, when I used it, it seemed to give me all possible answers in the entire SCN.

Does the search box you refer to search only the data transfers forum?

The old SDN would search in the singular forum you were in. The new SCN doesn't seem to do that.

I didn't see any search box for specifically for discussions.

What you need to do with "Search the Community" is do your search, on left side click Discussion Forum for Asset Type, then choose Forum category under Topics. It seems that's the only solution.
