Hide the code in QS41

Hi All Experts,

There's one requirement,In which we need to delete the code which is already in use.i.e Code 1 is in use already but now user want that code not to be seen while creating a notification.is there hide functionaliity

We Cannot rename it since already there are open Notifications exisiting.Kindly suggest

Hi once it is used it is not possible to delete it since it has got reference to previus notifications.

You can create a new code group and assign it to the required notification type so that that ll only be displayed during notification creation.

Dear,

If you want to delete catalog then it is only possible if you delete all document where it is used. But it is not possible if lots of transaction is over for this catalog. You need to create new one for the same and assign the same.

In new notification you can see it.

For the newly created notifications.They dont want to see the old code in such case what needs to be done.....

Hi Sravanthi,

Why can't you go for catalog profile creation? I think that would be the good solution for this problem. Create a new catalog profile through OQN6 transaction code.  Assign there required code groups. (Don't assign the one which you want not be seen at the time of defect recording).

If you try creating new notification after this profile assignment in material master, you would achive the required effect.

Smruti has also suggested a good approach. If you have same code groups for particular notification type for all materials it would work.
