Upgrade to PPM 5.0 - Graphic view not showing

Hi Experts,

We have upgraded our systems from PPM 4.5 to PPM 5.0, and after the upgrade the Graphic view in the projects is no longer working.

Have any of you experience the same behaviour?

Best regards,

Neil

Issue was fixed by upgrading the Java version to the latest one. There must be some problem with 1.6.23...

Hi Neil,

did you check that all SICF nodes under /sap/ppm* are activated?

(By the way: In the configuration guide, there is a list of all SICF nodes which need to be activated).

Kind regards,

Yes Florian, all nodes are active in /sap/public/PPM. Any other ideas?

I get a red cross - like when a picture cannot be loaded in a web page

Hi,

I had this problem sometime ago and it was related to ICF services ( in my case).,

Could you check if you have this service active ? sap_java /bc

Hi Sara,

We have activated the service SAP_java/bc, but still nothing showing.

Additionally, we have tried to access the view through several computers and it seems like the error is not reproducing in all stations, so I guess it has to be related to the java version installed in them.

Are you aware on any client java version restrictions - minimum or maximum version required?

Thanks again to all of you for your help!

Best regards

Hi Florian, according to the note the minimum java version is 1.6.12, and I am running 1.6.23. There is also a comment of bugs from 1.6.24 but we are not in that case either
