Dear Gurus,

we have one chacateristic 0010 ,100 to 150 %,0020 -100 to 150 %,

now we want in 0030 ,vaule of 0010 -value of 0020.

how ? what will be the setting.

Enter the results for first char & second char neglecting %.

then can use formula C00010 - C00020

in my 0010 chacteristics& 0020 chacteristics -upper limit ,lower limit are maintained,

& in 0030 what controlparameters is required & formula..

PLEASE EXPLAIN .

Nothing ...Make sure that all the control indicators of calculated char ( 0030) should be same as that of the previous char(  0010 &  0020 ).Mention upper & lower limits for the char for valuation.

Make sure that you declare  0030 as calculated char ( control indicator - formula) & enter formula for calculation in "quant overview" .

Did you search for any help on this?  My initial, very simple google search for the words SAP, formula, and characterisitic returned over 3,800,000 results.  The first page alone probably has more than enough links to answer your question.  The first shown link has several links to SAP own help files.  There is one down farther called "How to Use the QM Formula Functionality".  I'm guessing but I'm thinking that could help!  Might be worth a shot while you wait here for a reply!
