Hi,

Does cache is updated when we start TC <u>sxi_cache</u> or only when objects are activated. Can any body help me.

from sxi_cache you need to update the cache manually by choosing either delta refresh or full refresh. Cache update wouldnt happen automatically.

But when you activate the integration content the cache will be updated automatically.

Hi,

Does cache is also refreshed when we import metadata in to IR. Can u please tell me wat are the cases cache get refreshed.

depends which cache

as there are many CPA, IE etc...

they all react to different objects

Hi Kobby,

Can you tell as to exactly where you are facing problem?

are the changes in the integration process(IP) not getting reflected?

if that is so I will suggest you to make minor change like say replace any component in the IP(BPM) and place it back again at the same position so it wo'nt change anything in the logic but you have to save it now so it will ask for activation; activate it.

Then delete the IP in the config. say 'XYZ' and again create a new IP with the same name i.e. 'XYZ' then you do the delta cache refresh.this will help you.

yeah there is one more thing that the cache wo'nt get refreshed automatically.

you have to use delta cache refresh or a full cache refresh.
