We are in the process of trying to get Job Documentation and Scheduling implemented via Solution Manager using XBP for a third party scheduler. We have most of the pieces in place, but there is one annoying property that I can't find any information about. Whenever a job is scheduled from SolMan, it is automatically created with a status of Released. This requires that someone (the scheduler, me, in this case) having to log in to the managed system and change the status to Scheduled (cancel release) in order to avoid the job running off schedule. All of our business processes will use the third party scheduler, so having to do this manual step definitely raises the possiblity of forgetting this process at some point.
Is there any way to force the job to be created in the managed system with a status of Scheduled? It would seem to make sense to at least have that option available from the SolMan Scheduling workcenter.
