SAP Solution Manager 7.1 Upgrade to SP4

Hi,

We have successfully installed the solman 7.1 now we are in process of applying the latest support packages.

we are facing an error for applying BI Cont 706 it says per-requisites not fulfill.

Hi Mujeeb,

I think first you need to delta upgrade the BI CONT from 705 to 706 .. then you need to apply the support packs for that version 706.

You are current version is below. SO you need to first delta upgrade the version to 706 then apply the support packs of version 706.

but when I am trying to do a delta upgrade its giving me this error

SAPK-706BHINBICONT.SAR  I have uncar the same file but its giving me the above error

Hi,

Can you please download the installation package of ST-BCO 710 and uncar the same and put it in the EPS IN .. and then try loading both the files from the saint and see if the error still exists.

BI_CONT 706 upgrade expecting this compoenent which is not there in the system..

Please check Note 1558363 - BI_CONT 7.06:
Information about installation and upgrade

Check section "Component Support Packages that are also required for the delta upgrade to
BI_CONT 706:" in the note.

Hi,

If you've download the all SPs Media from SMP, you can do it SP04 patching in SAINT.

uncar all your SPs to /eps/in, go to saint and perform the patching, this will include BI_CONT 7.06.
