Why discussions are locked?

Hi

Why the discussion gets locked.

I have read that the "locking" is done when there is solution given for the querry but still the question is asked.

But for few querries there might be few more issues. Also, it seems anyone can lock the thread.

Can we unlock the thread?

Hi,

Discussion could be locked by moderators following the violation of SCN rules in the thread, such as SMS language, basic question, etc.
