AC 10.0 PSS doesn't unlock

Hi experts,

I am having a problem regarding pss in GRC AC 10.0. When a user tries to reset his/her password via pss, system resets his password and sends him an email. But the problem is if the user is locked in BW systems due to too many incorrect logon attempts,system doensn't unlock the user in BW system. He recieves the password but he can not logon with new password because his user is still locked. Eveything works fine in ECC systems, but only in BW system.

Has aynone have any idea?

I opened a OSS message a few days ago for this. Also, the problem I have is with the CUP request. The unlock request is not unlocking users with flag 128 (failed attempt).

Claudio What SP are you on ? What is the connected system basis level ?

I am in SP7. The backends are basis release 702 and 710.

SAP we are at SP11 and SAP asked us to move to SP15 atleast to solve the problem. We can not upgrade until next 3 months and Sap is not providing any alternatives. Let us know if the note works.

When I tried to download the correction from the note by clicking "Download Correction" button, it gave me a text file (zipped). When I opened it has details which are very difficult to follow.

No, I have not. This note is basically in text format. Therefore, can not be implemented using SNOTE.

Hi,

We are having similar problem but with 5.3 on BI & BPC Systems. SAP is suggesting us to upgrade the system and unable to provide any Notes.

I suggest you raise a OSS message, they might find the root cause and suggest or develop a note.
