Hi experts,

how to non- integrate fund management with travel management?

We need to put all backdate travel transaction as a record. so we plan to input all (backdate) travel transaction. but the problem is fund management budget always checking. what we want is just save travel transaction without budget checking. those backdate travel transaction already posted.

how to get this?

thanks in advance

Hi Inez,

Are in your system TM and FM on the same server or you are using separate ones? If second, you can deactivate integration by changing ALE distribution model: just delete two methods from your model

AcctngTravelExpenses.Check  and AcctngTravelExpenses.Post in tr. BD64 and generate partner profiles.

If you use same system, you can deactivate Availability Control for Activity Group 70 (trips) in FM settings in SPRO (IMG activity Edit Tolerance Profiles).

Hi Denis

we are using travel management and fund management in the same server.

we need to temporary not integrating fund and travel for upload requirement. our client want to record old travel transaction. and it happens that they already implement SAP FI and Fund management. how to momentarily deactivate their integration?

thanks

Done. Here is the solution.

You could create a new derivation rule in FM (transaction FMDERIVE) that includes a condition like business transaction TRANSAC = TVRL.

In this case this rule would only be used for travel and shouldn't impact for example MM.

You can change the commitment item already assigned to one created as statistical (within transaction FMCIA). You can also specify in this rule that even if there is a value already available for the field commitment item (which is provided by the rule) a manual entry could overwrite this value (or not), in case a different commitment item is needed at some other time.

Though in this case the rule should only affect the business transaction for travelling, to be in the safe side you should create it after rules that have already checked commitment item because the order of the rules is important in order to derive the data. The system checks all the rules from top to down.

In this example, the posting will be done in PSM-FM but no budget will be consumed. Therefore you will have in the history the same and can compare reports of FI, CO, TM and FM.
