2004s with NWDS

Folks,

Does anybody know what would be the message server port to specify in NWDS to access the 2004s server. I tried combination of 3900 ..still not working. The instance # of server is 01.

Hi, Manish

For SAP J2EE Engine Message Server Port of NWDS, 3900 is

right if your J2EE port number is 50100(instance 01).

You can confirm this by connecting here.

http://<J2EE Engine Server>:<J2EE Engine Port>/sap/monitoring/SystemInfo

And you can see the port in the Message Server field.

So, please find the another reasons.

One reason would be that you have to write down server host and address in

the hosts file of your PC.
