Mass Change of RP type

Hi,

Buyer had a long list of article which is currently under either RP or RF.

Now, he wanted to change all these to "ND".

Is there a way for him to do so in batch mode instead of changing it one by one in MM42?

You may use MM46 to perform this mass update.

You can do either of the following -

1. Use Mass change using MM46 T-code.

2. Record a LSMW to perform the changes.

3. Record a BDC using SHDB T-code to update the changes.

Although transaction MM46 will work, this is an "old" transaction.  Perhaps you can verify that the newer transaction "mass_marc" may be a better alternative.

I would suggest to use the transaction WRFMASSMAT to change RP-Type.

Hi,

When you update the RP type using MM46, WRPL table is not updated and transaction WRP1 considers WRPL for the replenishment. Hence create a LSMW using transaction MM42 for updating RP type in mass.
