dear experts.................

Iam trying to group certain lower level contracts under a master contract.

In the 'Master Contract' field of the lower contract, when i try to give the master contract number, the following error occurs "Contract data cannot be edited for document type XXX". What could be the problem?

. can anybody tell what am i missing.

Hi,

Check the VORB settings.Your contract type should assign to your master contract type.

Check and revert.

in txn vorb source and tgt doc has been assinged...
